BE IT ENACTED by The Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, with the Advice and Consent of Her Majesty’s Privy Council, and by the authority of the same, as follows—
1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the Bounty Hunters Act 2018.
2 No lawful justification for killing
It is declared that the killing of persons who are sought for trial, punishment or otherwise in foreign nations is not lawfully justified within the territory of Gabon.
Example—
Pierre, a foreign national of A, enters the City of Salisbury and is followed by Jean-Luc, a foreign national of B. Jean-Luc is acting on a bounty issued by a third party foreign nation, C. Jean-Luc kills and imprisons Pierre. Jean-Luc commits an offence against the Penal Code.
3 Authorisation of acts
The preceding section does not apply to any act that is authorised by the Lord High Chancellor or the Vice Chancellor.
